BREAKING NEWS: IT’S NEARLY 80 DEGREES IN NEW YORK THIS WEEKEND AND YOUR GIRL IS PUMPED. Alright guys, stand down—but in all seriousness I am so ready for the warm weather. This winter decided to stick around for what seems to be an eternity. But it seems that might be a thing of the past, or at least, for the next two days.
Recently I went to Miami to witness one of my oldest and closest friend marry the love of her life (cue all the tears and thank Jesus for water proof mascara). While I was down there, I was able to enjoy all the warm weather and try out a couple of summer styles and ladies let me tell me that if you don’t own a co-ord then you are SLACKIN’. The moment I saw this matching set from Girls Will Be Girls I knew I just had to have it. It’s tropical, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish. I’m a huge of maxi skirts but I know that isn’t the case for every woman out there.
Don’t fret, there are so many varieties—whether you like shorts, trousers, or wide leg pants, there’s something out there for you. Below are a few of my favorites:
For the pink co-ord click here. For maxi skirt combo. For sand colored pant set. Ruffled top and Shorts.
I’ve got to be honest with you guys. I’m a total snob when it comes to shopping, and I fully recognize that there’s a 85% chance I’ll buy an outfit and never wear it again. It’s such a bad habit, but this is why I love co-ords. You can definitely wear this more than once and it look completely different.
For example, right after I shot these pictures with Danielle I had to run to dinner with some friends. Only problem was that we were going to a hole in the wall sushi place (the sushi is to die for) and I felt slightly overdressed. Luckily I had some vintage high-waisted jeans like these in the car and just threw them on. The outfit looked completely different and everyone complimented it. I could have also easily thrown on a white tank with the maxi and it look super cute as well. The point is, the options are endless.
If you're looking to be in comfortable and chic clothes then co-ords/sets are definitely for you. Happy spring!
